Higgsfield reference assets: keep a reproducible generation and approval log

Give every generation a brief, reference set, settings record and decision so accepted assets can be traced and rejected variants are not reused.

SOURCE-BASED ANALYSIS · NO HANDS-ON RATING

Treat Assets as a library, not an approval system

Higgsfield documents that completed generations appear in the product area where they were created and in Assets. Availability in a library does not show whether an output is approved, licensed for the intended use or superseded. Keep a separate decision record linked to the asset.

Capture the inputs that explain a result

For each generation, record the brief version, model or feature, exact prompt, reference files, supported settings selected in the interface, generation time and asset identifier. For a reference, record its owner, source and permitted use. Avoid filenames such as final-final that conceal the relationship between variants.

FieldWhy it matters
Brief versionShows which request the output attempted to satisfy
Reference provenanceSupports rights and consent review
Prompt and settingsMakes a revision intelligible
DecisionPrevents rejected output from being published later
Published destinationSupports withdrawal or replacement

Use stable references deliberately

Higgsfield's prompt documentation describes reference images and reusable reference systems for characters or elements. Choose references that match the approved identity, object or environment. Do not combine references with conflicting appearance or ownership. If a reference changes, create a new version rather than silently replacing the file behind an old record.

Review before spending and before publishing

The official agent integration guide recommends checking the credit cost and requesting approval before generation when using an agent. Apply the same control principle in a manual workflow: make the operator aware of the displayed resource implication, but do not record an assumed or outdated price. Publication review is separate and should cover content accuracy, visual defects, permissions and destination.

  1. Create a brief identifier and acceptance checklist.
  2. Register authorised reference assets.
  3. Record prompt, model and selected settings.
  4. Generate after the appropriate approval.
  5. Mark the result accepted, revise or reject with a reason.
  6. Record every public destination for an accepted asset.
  7. Retain the superseding asset when a published variant changes.

A three-variant example

A fictional team creates three clips from the same approved product image. Variant A has the correct motion but clips the logo, B changes the product shape and C meets the framing and identity checklist. The log rejects A and B and links C to its destination. This is a workflow example, not a report of a Higgsfield test.
